Ditto. I also hope we go after Rucker next season. He would replace TonyG. I wouldn't mind spending our 2nd rounder on him.

Gee I can see how Jeff Terrell attracts the Chiefs. He had to avoid the dreaded Harvard passrush, and the punishing Yale linebacking corps.

Lord.

The Princeton kid is just here to set up his rookie year as a financial planner. UFA in the NFL, but a second round pick by Merrill-Lynch.

"I am still trying to digest it all, but on the whole, this is a childhood dream come true and I'm so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me in Kansas City," Terrell said.

Yes. :)

He had one pretty good game coming in as a replacement for the Rams in 2005. He's also the 3rd string QB so it's hard to say but he was a Bushnell Cup winner like Terrell.

Similiar to Jason White a few yrs back.

I don't think Swogger has signed his deal yet.

Link (http://www.missoulian.com/articles/2007/04/30/sports/sports01.txt)

Swogger, represented by former Griz player Chris Murray and Imani Sports, said he has yet to sign a contract. Local agent Ken Staninger, who represents Harris, said his client got a two-year, non-guaranteed deal with an unspecified signing bonus.

I give the best shot to Brackenridge.

Not because I'm convinced in his talent, but because CB is our shallowest position and he'll be competing with Michael Bragg and Marcus Maxey for #4 CB duties.

I know Ean Randolph is a good return man but check out the blog on Ryans. Sounds like a burner and a heck of a good athlete coming out that couldn't make grades to get to a good school.

There are normal sleepers, guys who played at small colleges, and then there are real sleepers who are totally off the radar screen and wide receiver / return man Titus Ryan definitely belongs in the latter category. A highly-regarded prospect coming out of high school in 2002, Ryan was ranked by some as the 5th best prospect in the state of Alabama behind only Ben Obomanu, Kyle Tatum, Jason Allen, and Kenneth Darby. However because he was not able to get the necessary ACT score to qualify he ended up going the junior college route, playing football at East Central Community College (MS) in '02 and '03, running track at Wallace State Community College in '04, sitting out in '05 due to a minor knee injury suffered while playing basketball and then seeing action on the gridiron again in '06 at Concordia College (AL). Despite that long and winding journey Ryan is still only 22-years-old and at 6-1 and 197 pounds he has good size but what is really going to catch the attention of scouts is his speed as he reportedly ran a 10.24 100 at one point and hopes to run a "4.2 or 4.3" forty for scouts in pre-draft workouts. If he's able to record a time like that Ryan will have a shot, whether it be as a very late pick or undrafted free agent who is brought into someone's camp. I am supposed to be receiving some tape of him to evaluate but make no mistake about it he will be a long-term project who will need to be developed on the practice squad for 2-3 years but you simply can't teach speed like that and if he's as fast as people are saying that alone will get him a look. Ryan is due to workout at the U.A.B. Pro Day and is trying to get into Alabama's as well so we will know soon enough but if he clocks the times those close to him feel he will you will likely be hearing a lot more about him between now and April. Just a name to make note of & remember.
