Not my home flooding. Just saw on a news break that Cow Creek here in Hutch - NW Hutch is flooding. 3-7 feet in a lot of area's. Evacuating people by boat and air boat now.

This shit is crazy. Supposed to get off & on rain until Thursday. Could get worse as the week goes on.

Soil is so saturated it can't absorb anymore. Too bad we can't just open up tiny little holes down to the aquifer and save it for the next drought.

You're such a ****ing asshole. A town gets obliterated by a tornado, another one is flooding, and all you can do is make piss poor jokes about their misfortune.

wow, sorry if that offended you but I didn't find it to be such a harsh joke. Maybe a little light humor with all the crazy weather going on, but in no way am I making light of what happened to people. I know someone who lives/ed in Greensberg so I don't find myself to be too insensitive. Lots of water in one town, big well in another, I don't see where that's making a joke about misfortune.

- Oh yeah, thanks for the neg rep "dickhead" Get a life.

Is that Space Camp still in Hutchinson?

As far as I know, yes. I believe they do it every summer. It might be swimming lessons though this year.

I'm heading out there this week.

I'm heading out to Garden City. I'm wondering what all roads will be closed, but I think if I stay on I-70 I should be ok.

On a related note, they fear Parkville is going to get flooded again.

I’m amazed that an F-5 left all those trees standing.
I remember back in the ‘90’s when a smaller tornado went across 169 highway by Nowata, OK and it took off the first ˝” of pavement from the highway.
I probably should say, “took off” though, its more like media, or sand, blasted it off.

I wasn't joking....we're really having brushfires here. My house was filled with smoke early this morning. And I didn't think his flood was as bad as the new pic posted since. It was more like misery likes company.

Geez, more neg rep from Buc now for some humor about previous stupid neg rep. This one post is going to single handily destroy all my CP credibility. At least I can see that I'm not the only one that doesn't like being called an asshole. It was a joke BucEyed :)

I noticed in one picture that they have to paint the street name on the street with arrows showing which way that street runs. I guess I never really thought about that. There are no reference points. It's all gone.
