An unknown masked woman attacked a 66-year-old Denver woman suffering from cerebral palsy, all for a portrait of John Elway the woman kept in her house, according to police reports. Police say the suspect forced her way into the woman’s home on the 2400 block of South Holly Street at about 5:45PM May 1. Once inside, the suspect reportedly punched the woman in the head and stomach before taking the portrait off the wall and fleeing in an unknown direction.

• Sunday, January 28 9:15 a.m. A cougar took a walk down Park Avenue.

• Monday, January 29 8:22 a.m. After a Union Street apartment manager evicted a couple, she found their former domicile littered with tokens of their extreme. Among the abandoned artifacts were smashed aquariums with glass shards left behind, a refrigerator full of poop, part of the stove and fridge burned from a kitchen fire, knives stabbed into the walls, toy skeletons hanging by their necks, “dirty” condoms hanging from the walls, walls covered with ink, with multiple drawings of a penis, demon-like faces and upside-down crosses. In case the manager didn’t get the message, writings on the walls included, “We hate you,” and “In Satin [sic] we trust.” The manager didn’t want police to act on the matter and wasn’t afraid for her safety, but took pictures for an upcoming civil case and wanted the matter documented in case the dream tenants further harassed her.

9:34 a.m. A man who had busied himself lifting bricks out of the sidewalk was next seen yelling at the Plaza. Police deemed him unable to care for himself.

8:22 p.m. A man with black, curly hair and a trash bag picked up stones from L.K. Wood Boulevard and threw them towards the freeway for black curly haired trash bag-carrying weirdo-guy reasons.
