View Full Version : Who else should / could be traded?

Will Greg Wesley be traded? What's his worth? When? To whom? Any thoughts?

I still think Weigman should be traded. He doesn't fit our offensive philosophy any longer. Herm is installing a smash mouth running game. We need big, run blocking lineman. That's NOT Weigman. He's still got gas in the tank. He's got to be worth something to someone. He would fit another team's offensive line much better than ours. Anyone agree?

Is there anyone else that you think could / should be traded? Personally, I think we should trade Tynes now that Medlock has been drafted. :p

On this team? I'd say nobody is above a trade.

We shouldn't trade Wes until another S hits the market that we can rely on. We'd have two rooks at S with John McGraw their only support, and from what I've read, he's not that great.

I think we should trade Wesley over the next 12 months. I don't want to see him on our team in 2008. Hell, I don't want to see him on our team in 2007, but necessity is necessity, and we're thin there.

Greg Wesley - We should just re-sign Sammy Knight at a cheaper price.

Plus, if JA is beyond reconciliation, we should either get a 1st or multiple first day picks for him.

Other players... other players...

Parker should have been traded this offseason for a low pick. We should have put Bell back out on the market, too.

Other than that, I don't think anybody else on the team is too expendable.

Unless we make a move on someone better, Wesley needs to stay, theres basically nobody back there except "Tug" McGraw for depth.

He's not what we all hoped he could be, but IMO he can contribute from the bench, nab a few picks.

Yep, i've been a fan of that idea since day 1...it seems like a perfectly natural transition for him.

If I get traded to Orange Mange, I'll just retire.

William Bartee. Bartee was released, right?

It's a pretty good day when the "who should we trade/get rid of" list can almost be counted on one hand.

Yeah, that would certainly create a dilemma at CB (atleast for now) & hopefully Page & Pollard come right along anyway, making that move unneccesary.

But one way or another, Laws days as a CB are about over.

I've been thinking that too. a good move when he loses a step or two and a up and coming CB is ready

Trade LB Bell to ARZ. They're moving to a 3-4 but don't have any 3-4 LB's. Bell would be good if he wasn't out of position.
