I like Sierra Mist. Its Lemon Limon taste is soothing to a rumbling gut and a kiss on the taste buds.

Here's an idea.....buy a case of Diet Poopsi on sale and take it to work? Maybe a 2 liter and a bag of ice?

Save yourself enough loot each week to get yourself another pack of those menthol GPC Cigs you like so much.

That's worse than mixing orange juice and milk.

You know what else I don't like? Beer and pizza.
I realize lots of people like this combo, but It's never sat right with me. Now beer and steak, or chicken, or any barbeque really.. that's fine and dandy, but as far as I'm concerned beer and pizza don't go well together.

i heard a news story the other day that supposedly proved scientifically that beer makes pizza taste better. i think it had to do with the fact that there are flavors in tomatoes that are not present unless alcohol is present. can't remember.

If it is a Coca-Cola or Pepsi Cola stocked vending machine they have a brand set that corporate wants in each machine. Divers could lose thier job for making adjustments like that without permission when I worked for Coca-Cola

The ONLY exception I remember to any of that was Ft.Riley. When you have 2 mother****ing vending machines side by side in a barracks and they both hold 575 cans EACH and they wipe out both over a weekend except for something in the major brand set we could adjust it to add more coke or dr.Pepper.

If you have a sanck company filling your vending machine most of the time if you call and talk to someone in charge of the drivers and let them know to take out some bullshit that doesn't sell they will listen. At least around here they DO.

If nothing else see if the company will send him by more often???

That is your opinion and you are entiled to it.

I don't know of to many kids today that would take a sierra mist or a 7UP over a SPRITE. It just ain't gonna happen PERIOD.

I started working for Coca-Cola when they started selling sprite in the contour sprite plastic bottle with the NBA logo and blue caps that 1-in-4 had a FREE 20 oz. label under it. I couldn't keep it in C-Stores.

I sold more sprite on my route than all of our other drivers combined just because of KIDS were buying that like crazy in town.

Actually SPRITE ZERO ROCKS

If the cola companys would have had the TECHNOLOGY we have now back when diet coke and diet pepsi were made with nutrasweet the FIRST TIME around the taste would be second to NONE when getting close to the taste of corn syrup ladden original mixes.

If you look at coke zero, sprite zero and alike they are all still being made with nutrasweet and NOT splenda.

Technology has given them the ability to master thier mix as close to the original as you can get IMHO.

If you've never tried a ZERO drink, its pretty damn tastey compared to the OLD diet drinks.

I actually work for Pepsi.

I can relate to the drink only Pepsi products in restaurants or swith to water/tea thing. It's just a corporate thing. Kind of like driving your Ford through the gates of the GM plant you work at. As far as my preference to friends or family drinking Pepsi or coke, I don't get uptight about it. People like what they like. Heck, my wife likes Dr Pepper (which Pepsi actually bottles in some areas). I usually just thank those who drink Pepsi products for thier support and give a little crap to the ones who drink coke products. :p

I will tell you that carbonated beverages are rapidly losing share to non-carb beverages. Pepsi owns Aquafina water, Lipton tea, SoBe energy and Frappucino coffee. coke owns Dasanii water, Nestea, several energy drinks and they just bought Glaceau vitamin water. All brands for both companies do very well.

Regarding vending machines - I'm not in the vending side of the business, but have friends that are. They've told me that finding responsible guys to service vending is one of the most difficult things to manage in this business. There are some great guys out there who care and there are the others that simply do not. I apologize on behalf of Pepsi for those who get frustrated. If you are in Plano, Texas I'll get you some free soda... :thumb:
