I need a new Digital Camera

and I'm lookin for advice. My Canon PowerShot has turned to PowerShit over a span of just 4 or 5 years. We're looking to spend less than $200.

I just bought a Canon PowerShot A710 IS (6x optical zoom) and it's the best DC I've ever owned.

Got rid of my $500 7 megapixel Sony H5 and accessories and paid $225 for this lil booger. One of the best decisions I've made in a while as far as a "downgrade".

Before I had a Kodak Photosmart and that was a nice camera that lasted me 4-5 years also.

I'll second the 710IS. It's a great mix of size and functionality. Although I'm a little jealous on the price, as the g/f and I paid $280 for it back in January.
