FTR I absolutely HATE the red pants/white jersey look on the road. White on white isn't great but it's better than those putrid red pants. I'd actually like to see red on red just to see what it looks like. Someone on here... GoChiefs maybe... photoshopped red on red once and it looked pretty cool.

Huh? Did I blow your cover? I must really be a horrible communicator. This just happend with Phobia too.

You are pretty smart with the football stuff, while you get disagreements with others, it's always with a bit of class and intelligence. So on a random topic, like the salary cap or which coach implimented the red pants, do you ever say something you may not be 100% certain of, just to see if others will believe you - or to see if they'll call you on it.

Example here, the red pants, you said Gun brought them back, but Dick made them permanent. Let's just say that wasn't true (I have no idea if it is or not) but you still made the same comment, knowing you didn't really know with the intent of seeing if everyone will take it for gold information or if someone will try to get you to prove it/call you on it.....

you know just to mess with someone, if you did it too much it would hurt the credability, but not if you only did it once in a while and later said you were joking.

Green to wear Dolphins helmet at Chiefs minicamp?
Here's bonus coverage from Harvey Fialkov

Chiefs quarterback Trent Green said on 790-The Ticket Friday that he's thinking about borrowing a Dolphins helmet (possibly former Dolphins LT Damion McIntosh or CB Patrick Surtain) and run on the field with it on at next week's Chiefs minicamp and Fan Appreciation Day.

Vermeil made them a permanent fixture.

According to the Chiefs Media Guide,

2000 - Ever mindful of Stram's legacy and the franchise's glory days, head coach Gunther Cunningham receives Hunt's blessing to revert back to red pants on the road. The resurrected red pants debut in a 23-22 win at Denver (9/24/00) and remain a fixture of the club's road attire.

Because Montana got a concussion in the first quarter. If you think making the AFC Championship with possibly the greatest QB ever to play the game is a failure than you are ignorant as hell. We were 3 quarters from the SB when our starting QB went down. In any reasonable persons mind that is "sniffing the SB".

Lost by more than two touchdowns because Marty pounded the hell out of the ball relentlessly when we had an incredible O-Line and one of the greatest QB's of all time behind center. After Joe got hurt, the game was over...

Does the next game not count? Does their next opponent get spotted 10 points? Do the teams have to sneak past security to get in the stadium?

Revisionist history.........Steelers we barely beat (we were probably favorites since it was at home)........the Oilers we were a (huge?) underdog , I clearly remember all the talk about how it was impossible to move on their defense etc. and they were on a roll when we met up with them...maybe it was not a shocking upset but it was an upset so I can't see that being a team we should have smacked in the mouth - and as I recall in the 2nd half we did just that.
