Ok in reading the Star today I came across this quote from our Manager Buddy Bell...
“Banny did what we desperately needed him to do,” Bell said. “He threw strikes and really wasn’t in trouble the whole game.”
Ok first off his name is Brian Bannister...."Banny" sounds gay no matter how you slice it. Bell is always doing this and Muser did it a lot too....everyone on the team all the sudden gets their last name cut in half and a y added to the end.
Gordy=Alex Gordon
Grudzy=Grudz ....ok I give him a pass on this one
Brownie=Emil Brown
I remember Muser doing that too...
Suppy=Suppan
Rosy=Rosado
etc...
it is just idiotic...especially when you call someone "Banny" instead of "Brian" or "Bannister" or hell "B.B." if you want to give him a nickname SHEESH BELL GROW A PAIR!!!!
