I've been better, got passed over for two departments, one didn't even contact me for the test......... I called to check on the status and they say "we already had the test and just gave out offers"

I replied back "I didn't even get notified"

"Well, maybe you were missing something in your packet or didn't meet the qualifications."

that pissed me off and I know I turned in a complete packet, "I'm certified for the 1st class license, have 10 years of LE experience, ready to start tomorrow and have a four year degree. If you didn't want me you must have been looking for superman."

"well, have a nice day"

The other one I was third on the list and they currently only have two needs, I'm next, but this means, now I'm waiting for someone to retire or get canned.

I'm just ready to get back to work, this part time stuff is killing me.

Hey I can tell you...and I know you just moved but a rather large department out here...Thornton Police, is 20 officers down due to retirements and sh!t canning the turds of the department...if you are looking....anywho yeah I can get a %50 reimbursement but I have to shell out the cash first....friggin politics...I got an application I'm putting in with the State as a paralegal with with PD office, which is yeah like selling my soul but I'm finishing my masters soon and going into law school I need to start making contacts in the DA/PD office, which is what I would really love to do, not so much on the PD side but you gotta get in somewhere
