NBC is shelling out a cool mil for the "privilege" to exclusively interview her after she is released from the can.

C'mon, we all knew this would happen. She probably figured it out herself, now she knows she can play it up. NBC won't be the only ones who will pay either, they'll just get the first interview exclusive...

...going to jail will be the best thing that ever happened to her...

Thats cool she is spinning it into a positive. Lots of people would be negative about the situation.

I hardly get any indepth news on these stupid shows anymore.

Larry King is a gossip newsboy too. Wish he would die.

3 heart attacks and 7 wives haven't killed him yet. I think he's immortal.

Like Paris needs another million dollars. I bet she donates it to some charity as a public relations ploy. It will be interesting to see if she is going to maintain the non blond routine for the interview.

So NBC has officially become a tabloid network. They should buy the Enquirer and make it official. What a disgrace to serious Journalism. Yeah, they'll say it's their Entertainment division but it's still crap. I hope she does give the money to charity after she pays her fines and Lawyers.

The "Charity" will be a huge bash in her "honor" at the Hotel Roosevelt. And the money won't end at Dateline. It's just begun...

I don't get some segments of our population. Some Americans would want an autograph from a turd if it was on TV first. Strange.

Yeah, it's insane. Everyone I've spoken to (not that's it much of a discussion topic, to be honest) thinks she's a scumbag. Plus, it makes all of us normal L.A. folk look like idiots.

If she donates it to a charity, that would be the only redeeming element of this whole deal. But it still won't result in a net gain.

Seriously--does anyone with an IQ above 50 really give a shit? Is this really interesting or entertaining? What has Paris Hilton ever done, other than get dropped out of her mother's crotch?

Bob Dole really hopes he croaks from a massive coronary before the latest generation of morons manages to finish flushing this once-proud country down the shitter.

Well, I'm heading out to Vegas to play in the main event in July. I guess if I make some noise and go deep then I'll actually have people wanting my autograph just because ESPN would show it. That would be a surreal experience. I've got a friend of mine who has made a couple of final TV tables recently. He gets stopped for autographs all the time. Unreal, he's just a normal dude. I mean, who gives a shite about an autograph or a lifestyle sensationalized by the press/tv? I guess alot of people do. Don't these people realize that Paris Hilton's skill set is that she was born into luxury and has a nice bod and face. However, when her mouth opens up it's (to me) jeezus shut up and just take the jimmy stick and go home! :0 <~~ That's all I want to see Paris doing.

I mean lets get real at least Christine Aguilera and other serious actors/entertainers actually have talent that people can enjoy. The rest I just don't get.

I'm betting that at least 2 dozen people will lose their jobs. (due to the interview) Paris will whine and the public will bring pressure to bear upon anyone who did not attempt to help Paris escape. Every moron in the entire U.S. will take to the streets.

I am not 100% positive about this but she's in county right? And I think also she has a private cell as well?
Even people like her can find peace inside a small room by themselves, this whole thing is silly. Her mom saying things like, "it's in God's hands now" when there's people out there with REAL problems.
shame

Paris's car repossessed
22/06/2007 13:05 - (SA)

Los Angeles - Paris Hilton's car has been repossessed after she failed to make the last two payments, it has been reported.

The hotel heiress, who is serving a 45-day jail sentence for driving with a suspended licence, will be shocked to learn that her Mercedes - allegedly worth a staggering $500 000 - has been towed away.

A source at the recovery lot where the impressive vehicle is being held told Australia's New Weekly magazine: "When we learned it was Paris's car, we were shocked. She must have been so distracted with everything else, she forgot to pay her bills!"

Pose for Playboy

Meanwhile, Paris has been invited to pose for Playboy - but her mother Kathy won't agree to it.

Playboy millionaire Hugh Hefner, who would love the sexy blonde to pose for the magazine when she is released from jail, feels Kathy's disapproval will prevent her.

Hefner told Access Hollywood: "Well, that's a standing offer. I think the problem quite frankly is Mama. Mama doesn't want her to pose." -

People are watching it. NBC isn't stupid. It's the American people who are stupid. They are the ones eating up this Paris Hitlon crap and begging for seconds.

NBC will probably make 10 times their money back. If I were in such a position at a TV network I would have been in the bidding too.

Fox News was just having an interesting roundtable on how morally unacceptable NBC is for trying to get this interview.

They should've had this conversation when Fox was planning to run the OJ 'If I Did It' Interview.

How in the ph*ck did two talentless c*nts like Paris and Anna Nicole Smith command so much press? Neither of them are hot, neither of them ever did anything that required true work, and both of them are ignorant dumbazz sluts.

Congrats to all of you teenage girls who ever dreamed of making it big- you all have a REAL shot at it. :shake:
