here it's a great place tro vacation. . im 29 and single. .me and couple friends were thinking bout going down there. . anyone know any info, good spots resorts ect. .

Well, it is a beautiful area... I went there in 2004 with my wife. And, yes if you are a single man, you can have a lot of fun. Other than that, it really is a great place to visit. I'll see if I can find the name of the area where we stayed.

I highly recommend the Arco Iris in Monteverde. its a beautiful affordable group of cabins in the cloudforest.
Limon can be skectchy- i wouldnt go there. Another good option is bocas del toro, in Panama. Thats my current fav place in latin america.

Costa Rica is awesome from what I hear. My old roomate studied abroad there for a semester and all he did was lay out on the beach, go to class for a few hours a day, then party his ass off, snorkle, etc.

Everything is really cheap down there too.

acually its getting alot more expensive- its been getting really trendy to go there for americans- thats why i like Panama, it pretty much the same ecosystem, americans are widely accepted (former base on the panama canal), and its still affordable.
