I'd have no problem dating a 20-year old, or even an 18-year old ( ), but I wouldn't date anyone older than say...28.

I'd be more likely to go older. I've dated more older folks than I have younger.

I happen to know a couple who are 25 and 18. It's not as odd as I thought it would be.

I have dated younger and older. I married the woman that was older than me. Matureness goes a long way.

That was my wife and I 5 years ago. Now I'm 30 and she's 23. It's not any different depending on personality and experience. I got really lucky with mine. She fell into my lap.

That's kind of how I feel.

For the most part, though, I tend to have a lot more in common with older women for whatever reason.

I think at 20 it would be pretty a little wrong dating a 15 year old.

But I have always dated older, don't really know why.

I could easily see this trend reversing in a few years though...

My wife is 7 years younger. Since women mature more quickly than men, I need that buffer.

So you did get lucky, at the local club?

Since you are afraid to go into a place to meet a girl, I suggest any age to start with for you.

I'm married and no longer in the game, but this makes me wonder how rich I would have to be to get a date with an 18 year-old.

Price varies depending on nacionality of the 18 year-old. You would have to have a lot if you want an American.

BTW, I dated a 20 year old when I was 24. She acted like a friggen 16 year-old. No Thanks.

Though, I'm 37 now, so, I'd go anywhere between 50 (she'd have to be a HOT 50) and 27.

But I've quit while ahead. I'll keep my 38er thank you very much.

Can someone define dating for me? I haven't had a real actual tangible girlfriend since 2003. I had many many many before that. I decided it was enough, and I've been happier ever since. But, up until then, I have not dated anybody EVER older than me. I have had flings with older women, but if you were a guy, I would not wish to date anyone older. If it was a year or two no big deal, but say five..it would be weird.

Doesnt matter, but 1 thing do know now that i am 30, is that slighly older women really intrigue me.

When I was in college I REALLY wanted to meet a sugarmomma. Like divorced woman with no kids in the house, living off the $10,000,000 divorce settlement. I could live in her place, go to school, race my bike, and all I'd have to do is light cooking and cleaning and eat her box, have sex with her now and then.
Never found her. No regrets. I probably would have gotten grossed out adn not lasted more tha na semester.

The closest I got was a Swedish chick who was house sitting a doctor's home in Hoillywood Hills. I knew she was getting poked by the guy but was happy to fill in while he was out of town for the week. Good times.

I would probably only date younger. Women my age think I am imature as hell.

Legality issues state I can only date 5 years older. Not dating younger doesn't bother me too much as all the 18-19 year old girls I know are either emotional rollercoasters or just immature in general. But they're hot. So it's a mixed bag.

older for me, I don't think of it as her being older. I think of it as her having more experience.

j/k. I probably would be more inclined to date someone around the same age as me, 5 yrs older wouldn't bother me a bit, I'd like to find a woman who knows where she is going in life and is mature.

My wife is waaaaaaaaay out of my league. I really have no clue why she is so infatuated with me. I positively do not deserve the quality of sex I get. Thank you God.

Back in the day I dated several older women, but never too many that were younger. I think the biggest age difference was 11 years older than me. She was hot... and taught me quite a bit. She had a kid though and I realized right away I needed to get out of there before it got serious.

I'm married, so this doesn't really apply. But since, I'm still in college, it's far more likely that I'd date someone younger.

When I was 36 my GF (at the time) was 25, it was very nice. you sacrifice maturity for the pretty face and smokin bod. but that relationship was doomed from the start, it was fun though.

I've only dated one person who was older than me, and she was only a year older. I found her to be a little too corny for my taste, but that was probably just her individual personality, not her age.

Five years is my celing and basement for age though. It seems women usually look for an older guy because they think they will be more mature/less likely to have wandering eyes/penis. That's not to say they won't, just less likely, and I think by and large it's true. Guys between the ages of 18 and about 25-26, at least that I know, seem to be more calm, more settled, less player-ish. The younger women I've dated have mostly all had serious psychological issues though, so maybe I need to go for someone older.

As much as I would like to say that I would more likely go for the younger, in reality I would more likely go for dating a girl 5 years older. My girlfriend is 3 years older than me right now. I am 29 she is 32

Age doesn't matter. Only maturity. Some 18 year olds are seasoned like 30 year olds. Some 30 year olds still live off of their parents and couldn't care for themselves if their lives depended on it.

Someone like you NEEDS to START out with OLDER women.

Younger.

However, when I was 18, I dated a 23-year-old for a while and felt like an absolute stud.

It seems like I always date younger women. It never lasts so maybe I ought to look at going older. I'm 27 so it's getting tougher and tougher to find a older chick that doesn't have kids.

My receptionist is 22 and is dating a guy that is 39. They've been together for 7 months and they seem to be doing great. That's a little extreme, but they seem happy.

I was thinking about it......and I think I dated alot of similar personalities.

More often than not, as an adult, I've dated Nurses or Elementary School teachers.

What Career types do you date, besides the "super model" liars.

Eh, my wife is 5 years younger than I am and has always been more mature. :)

I dated one gal for awhile that was 12 years older than I (she was 36 at the time). Man, her biological clock was ringing big time. http://bestsmileys.com/eek/3.gif

When I was dating, I noticed I had a habit of dating English Majors, regardless of what career they ended up in.

I've dated older and younger, but felt pretty proud when I was 19 dating a very nice looking 27 year old.

The old lady is two years younger.

I am 48, my wife is 33.

The older the couple gets the less it matters. When we first dated she was 22 and there were times we ran into a generation gap but that rarely happens these days.

No preference really. I am 36, and I met this girl who is 23. I have not been on a date with her, she wants to. I am just not sure about it, I just wish she was older. When I think about her, I imagine us 10 years younger. Kinda makes me shudder...
