Actually, Laz will laugh at me, I think most of the time it probably would've been good just to leave the reliever in there.

That said, this was Soria, remember he's a Rule V rookie who's coming off winter ball and has already been on the DL once. He threw 19 pitches the previous inning, and they've pitched him 2 innings just once in the last 2 and a half months, and in that outing he threw 16 pitches. I'd guess that was a pitch count move. Don't want to turn him into another burned out Andy Sisco.

I really honestly think though at the end of the year --- he's gone... We're not going anywhere this year, so Moore will take his lumps... But next year, Moore is going to want new blood in there... Moore WILL expect more next year out of this team...
