The things we made to blow stuff up with and "fish with" :evil: was unreal. Some of the pipe bombs we made were the same as three pieces of dynamite. I look back at now and we were damn lucky someone didn't take a dirt nap over that.

One time, we would put a 6 foot plastic pipe on the ground, and on one end, tie up with a plastic bag that contained some type of a explosives fume. And on the other side of the pipe, lit a roman noodle, and ran like hell.

Formula one:

- 2 ounces of Potassium Perchlorate
- 1 ounce of 600 mesh Aluminum Powder

This formula is one of the best. It produces a very, very, extremely lound explosion. Easy to ignite with a fuse, it is not moisture absorbent, not very sensitive to impact or friction. Sodium chlorate or Potassium chlorate can be used instead of potassium perchlorate but it becomes very sensitive to friction and impact.

Four ounces of this stuff equals one stick of dynamite.

We used to buy flash powder at a theatre supply place years ago, but I don't think it was that powerful. Where exactly do you buy Potassium Perchlorate and 600 mesh Aluminum Powder at anyway?

there are lots of auctions on ebay for the aluminum powder, but looks like only one for the perchlorate. a few years ago, there were tons of auctions. maybe the ATF has been crackin down on that stuff. there are places to get it locally too. a lot of science/hobby shops will carry various chemicals for experiments and such. i don't mess with it either way.

just thought i'd mention, flash powder is what blackcats and are made of. thats why you get dirty/shiny silver hands after shootin off a bunch... its that aluminum powder
