OK, I have been all day getting my pc up and going. I picked up a worm, Browser.exe.

Ended up having to reinstall firefaox, but I only get about 3/4 of the page on my screen. I don't have this problem on IE, it's a full page.

Where do I go to enlarge the page, I want to keep the toolbar and settings.

Also I can change the home page on IE back to Yahoo, but it goes back to Symantec each time....... What's up with that ?

Firefox stays with yahoo.......

What do you have installed to clean up the viruses?

go get scanned

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

then check the database(search) at the same site for info on the results if they show a worm

It froze up during startup today, was able to get it into safe mode, went to safety.live.com, windows live and it found the problem.

Did AVG and Norton afterwards, it found nothing......

Now firefox has about 3/4 of a screen, basically I have to scrow down to find any threads or post instead of seeing the last 3-8 threads like before.

My bottom bar where it says " Done " is 3/4ths of the way down the screen instead of at the bottom like before.

It's not the screen settings because IE is still the same.

Maybe firefox didn't download properly ?

Are you saying that when you maximize Firefox it only take up a small part of the screen and that there is no way to make it bigger?

Yep, it doesn't matter if you go maxi or mini ...... it only covers 3/4 of the page from top to bottom...... the bottom 1/4 is not there, cuts it off and it is a light cream color screen.

Can not expand it at all.........

IE has no problem, I'm on it now, full veiw of the Planet pages or any page I want to browse.......

No problem, all in good humor. It's happened before, he told me he would never do anything again.

I hadn't turned the pc off till this morning to reboot, MSN was acting up and " BOOM ", I get the Motherboard page saying ...................Detecting IDE drives ....

I unplugged it and waited 15 seconds, fired it up and went to safe mode.......

I was going to tell you to do a restore. And then manually remove the offending file. But it sounds like you have it covered.

I would still like to know what this puppy is ? It's too damn close to the Browser.exe that was causing the problem. I still feel like it is part of it, it was created the same day and still in the pc. I have scanned it with AVG and Norton.

Found nothing....... I'm waiting for the fallout later.
