Kansas City Chiefs
With Trent Green now in Miami, it's time for the Damon Huard era in Kansas City. Filling in for Green a year ago, Huard posted a 5-3 record and looked like a competent guy who could run this offense effectively. Brodie Croyle is probably the future for the Chiefs and has better skills than Huard. While he's probably a year away from being ready, this could turn out to be a more intense training camp battle than most realize. The Chiefs will have to decide whether they can live with Croyle's growing pains or if they'll go with a less talented, but more consistent guy in Huard. Former CFL QB Casey Printers has a ton of skills, but little NFL experience. Still, he's a quality No. 3 QB.

AND I'M PAYING FOR THIS CRAP?

HAHA Another year?
This is worse than WPI...

I guess paying 40 a year for ESPN Insider and the Mag isn't that bad...but I can't believe this article was an Insider article...it was horrible.

I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I would bet money that we won't have the worst QB situation in the entire NFL

The big deal is, we're having a legit QB competition that our youngster will probably win. This is the situation Kansas City wants to be in.

Which distinguishes it from many of the situations across the NFL where teams are having to settle for certain options that they're not that crazy about.

As long as we have the 18th rated QB, I will be ok.

And let Bob Dole guess: Denver is top 10 with Jay "2-3" Cutler?

C'mon guys am I the only one over the yrs thats caught onto how ESPN handles our beloved Chiefs??

When ESPN cuts us down preseason we go 13-3..& they talk about us for 5 seconds a show/sportscenter.
Till the playoffs.
Then its the Chiefs made it here but they probably cant go any further..now 10 minutes a show.

Yrs where ESPN..mostly because of Jaws raises our hopes we start out 2-3 & then the only thing we hear on sportscenter is the guys bustin Jaws balls about the playbook type talk.

I might remember one yr in the 90s where Espn showed us some love when we had a good yr right thru.

Not sure where the F I'm going with this right now but my point is ESPN dislikes our Chiefs whether they do good or do bad.
In no way do they change my mood about how the team will do in the upcoming season.

That Said I think our QB situation should be ranked at the very least at #31 !!

Screw ESPN their Wrong!

Agreed.

The Chiefs should be in the 15-17 range...
