View Full Version : Anyone tried those knockoff Mach III razors ?

Sell them at all the grocery & convenience stores now.

Haven't tried one yet.

Anyone here with a review?

I buy the 6 bucks for a dozen gilette razors and they give me as good of a shave as mach III with less razor burn and ingrown hairs. That is just my beard though.

I can't imagine that mach III is such a superior product to the generic models.

I use the 3 blade Persona works fine and 6 pack cartridge ~$3

I use the mach III thinking of switching to the 4 blade model for closer shaves...yeah I'm the sucker who does that

I've tried off brands before and always swore never to do it again. Probably just my facial hair type though.

You asking me? The stores are selling the generic 3 blade versions now. They're everywhere.

Everyone i look at doesn't have that 'suspension' for the blades that allow them to go up and down. This could be patented by Gillette. Maybe I'm wrong.

Cheap. Like half price of mach.

I have a fusion. I like it OK. The reason that I still use it is that I can make the blades last forever. My dad gave me the thing in October, and I have replaced the blades once. With the 3 blade disposables I was buying from Schick (I think they were called Xtreme 3 or something) were lasting anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks before they would destroy my face. These blades last forever, and while they are expensive, they are worth it since I can make them last with my face. Others may not have the same experience.

i use the mach 3 power


the power vibration really makes the difference while shaving.
