I'm not a big fan of the simpsons, but I must confess that that really amused me.

Yeah if this movie was any good it would have come out years ago.

Like others said, I grew out of the Simpsons 10 years ago, but that commercial cracks me up...

It's still fresh to those who are aged in years 5-12...and those who act they are aged in years 5-12...and those who have IQs in the range of 5-12.

Do you think the Simpsons shows have been very, very good in the last 15 years?

It was OK, but nothing special. I laughed a few times. Most importantly, I didn't have to pay for the tickets.

I'd rather see the same effort put into a Futurama flick. I think it has more potential for laughs.

I saw it with my son this last weekend. Typical Simpson's, it was funny as it went past but nothing much stuck later. IMO, it wasn't anything special but then I wouldn't expect special from the Simpson's, just basic funny.

The Simpsons used to be my fav show, and deffinitly holds the longevity title, but Family Guy has surpassed it in the comedy department.

Maybe cause Family Guy uses the same material from old Simpsons episodes?
