I know Mizzou got their new ones last year. Check these out. Can't find the road KU one. KU has new helmets with their new lettering. Don't think KSU is switching helmets. Also, I had to give you Oregon, just for fun.

Whatever happened to those tearaway jerseys like OU used in the '60's?

The numbering on the Kansas one is ghey.

Why does the K-State one have a stripe that doesn't go all the way around? It looks like one of those el cheapo jerseys you can buy at wal-mart.

I think Oregon has the most objectionable colors in the NCAA

In reality, it appears that the KSU jerseys will have a full stripe instead of the "band-aid" as it's being called shown in the Nike PR stuff above.

That KU home jersey is a little odd.

ADIDAS in rather large font and a tiny little toucan sam?

I hope they don't go to the new KU lettering on the helmets.

That shit is stupid, and goes against KU's tradition. (not in football of course, just in general)

 I just wondered why the stripe wouldn't go all the way around on the purple one.

rumor has it that the "band-aid" pays homage to a military battle ribbon but I have no idea if it's true.

KU's jersey would be cool, but the numbers are too thin. Fatten them up a little (even with the same elegant-type font) and they'd look ok.

Iowa State is going to have gold pants this year, and they are getting new jerseys and helments next year. I don't really like the pants, but hopfully the helment and jerseys are cool. Their new coach thought they should go back to wearing thier true team colors, Cardinal and Gold.

Well, the font looks better than the helmet would if it had heckle or jeckle on it, but they should have kept the old ones.

I think the Hawk only had a Jayhawk on their Helmet back in the 60 and 70's- not sure about the 80's. In the 90's when Glen Mason had them playing pretty well they had a big Hawk on the side of the sleeve. But its been a while since the Hawk has been prominent on the Football or Basketball uniforms.

Not a big fan of going away from the KU font that has been used for quite some time.

When the Kutztown business came about a few years ago, turned out that they had been using KU, which is owned by Kansas since the 30's, and ironically- I think they had to pay Kansas some sort of licensing fee for using the KU refrence.

I don't live too far from Kutztown and every now and then I'll see a, "KU" hat in maroon and gold and get confused, then realize it's just a poser school.

This better just be idiot K-Stater trash. If it's true, I'm going to have a serious problem with the basketball team going away from their current and traditional letter and number scheme.

KU football jerseys are hideous. Look very feminine, which I guess matches the play on the field, so game on. Like I said, I hope KU is not stupid enough to change the basketball unis...

Changes to uniforms won't ruin KU athletics

Kansas associate athletic director Jim Marchiony thinks he will be able to handle the fan reaction to a font change. Marchiony, after all, is a man who endured the renovation of Allen Fieldhouse and the considerable hand wringing associated with the project.
"Some people were terrified we were going to destroy the aura of Allen Fieldhouse," Marchiony said.

The Phog's aura remains, and Marchiony is confident that a change (gasp) to the basketball uniforms (double gasp) won't ruin Kansas basketball. KU is gradually changing all of its athletic uniforms to incorporate the logo and Trajan font the university adopted last year.
As new uniforms come in, they will come with the new font. Men's basketball and baseball are two of the uniforms that haven't been refreshed since the logo redesign — the change that has ruffled the feathers of some Jayhawk fans.
"It's understandable that some people are anxious about it," Marchiony said. "But we made a commitment to the university to be on board with the new visual identity the university has embraced.
"We have no doubt that fans will like the uniforms. We're keeping the same colors. It will not be as drastic a change as people might think."
Marchiony said the men's basketball team will adopt the new font for the upcoming season. He added that changes to the uniforms don't constitute the overhaul some believe them to.
"I think there's a misconception that basketball has been wearing the same uniform for the last 25 years," he said. "It's changed subtly two or three times in the last 20 years."
All of KU's uniforms will sport the new look within the next two seasons, Marchiony said.

I think the Jayhawks font change is probably okay .... that Font up on top is a reasonable change from the more fancy traditional script they used.

What I don't like is the football team only changing from royal blue to navy blue, and the removal of the logo from the helmet. College is becoming like the NFL I guess ... pretty soon all the beautiful colors will be gone, and every team will have either: BLACK or NAVY BLUE as their main color.

Broncos did it ... hell, every NFL teams has done it in the past 15 years.

This is retarded and Athletic Department/University won't hear the end of it. He's being misleading in saying that the uniform has changed in the last 25 years. Of course it has, it changes every time they refresh the uni. But the font has remained basically the same (changed the size of it, but the same idea). This is a complete overhaul of the look in my opinion. I will seriously bust a vessel in my head if I have to wear anything that says Kansas in a font I can find on Microsoft Word. In fact, they'll probably lose my business. I'll still be a rabid fan, I just won't buy anything that looks that shitty and cheap.

It wasn't the K-Stater who was the idiot it was K ****ing U! :cuss:
