Considering it's been a couple of years, I would say it's a reunion if he comes back wouldn't you?

Priest is in Mexico cultivating a nice crop of bud-Ricky Williams and Randy Moss are helping him.

He won't be back.

But he IS still taking hits.

GTFO and STFO Priest.

Priest is the reason you and half of this board are even here.

no wonder players don't stay with teams...most fans could give a crap about them or what they've done...

I would love to see him at least activated for one game, so we can show some respects for what he has done, one more time.

I hope he comes back so LJ will come down from his unreasonable contract demands.

He's retiring.

The Chiefs must've gave him all the money he was supposed to get contractually, so he's retiring now.

That was pretty harsh, but I'm just tired of all this speculation. I suppose I shouldn't blame Priest unless he is instigating it.

I don't think that would change any thing when it comes to the deal LJ wants.

Even if he is, that would appear to indicate that a return is possible, and if it is retiremnt, he deserves that spotlight also.

Your highlight of him is still your best work, IMO.

Thanks Steve, but if he returned I'd be pretty pissed. The team has moved on. There's no place for Priest here. It'd be a bad move.

Are you confident in the back-ups to carry the load if LJ holds out?

If Preist says he can play, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

You can never, ever have too many running backs. I don't care where they come from or who they are.

I have zero confidence in Priest. If LJ doesn't play for some reason I'd rather see Kolby Smith and Bennett out there.

I disagree with the notion of being pissed if he came back, but I do agree the team has moved on. His running style today is not conducive to the offense we run now. The ONLY positive would be if Herm sticks with what he said about the offense changing to where our RB's are going to be legitimate downfield options in the passing game. Priest might givel a good Eric Metcalf impersonation, IF (and I mean IF) he is healthy.

IF, . . . if he returns. I have every ounce of faith that he'll return in as good a form as we've ever seen him. And you don't 'move past' a Priest Holmes hitting on all cylinders.

You know and i know, that doesnt mean he's better then Priest. I dont care if he comes back or not, but i want the best 53 on the team. If Priest is one of them 53, then i am all for it.

Yeah, LJ is just such a great pass-blocker, we don't need a third down back, do we?

Priest isn't going to come back just to hurl himself in front of linebackers. I doubt he's coming back anyway, so this discussion is moot.

Then trade his ass to Dallas or Green Bay. If Priest is in the fold we have a group of RBs that can handle a year or two of RBBC. If that trade brings in another usable RB so much the better.

IF Priest comes back, he will do blocking as well as running. LJ won't do both.

You have to be joking.

But had you shown a film of Marcus Allen I might have agreed.

Priest has long since forgotten about football. He has only not retired so he doesn't have to pay any of the money back. He ignores Kansas City and doesn't even come into to town to pick up his checks, just has them delivered to his house in Texas. We won't ever see him back in KC again.

That's the first thing I thought of. Dude had knack sp? for that one yard. Priest had a nose for the endzone. That toss to Priest to Roafs side wtih Richardson lead blocking was money in the bank every single time.
