Wesley talks drag on

The Broncos have repeatedly talked with Kansas City in the past month about the trade availability of safety Greg Wesley.

Wesley's agent, Drew Pittman, confirmed the teams have talked because Wesley, 29, is hoping for a change of scenery and the Broncos are looking for depth at safety. The Broncos likely are offering a low-round pick and perhaps a backup player. The Chiefs are looking for help at cornerback.

Aren't they short at CB too? Not as short as us but...

The mere thought of a trade, between these two franchises, is laughable. AFC West 101, the teams do not trade with each other, period.

There's a nice continuity of hate between The Rat and King Carl. The only way it would get less likely is if there was a three way (ewww!) with the Raiders and Al Davis.

ROFL Maybe Shannahan could get Dan Snyder involved. Chiefs trade Wesley to the Redskins, then the Redskins send him on to Denver.
