I'd go if it was closer to KC, or somewhere within a half-day drive. I'm not willing to invest a lot of traveling money to make it there or anything.

I was in the Small Press publishing area in 2005.

It was an incredible experience (120K+ paid attendence, not counting the exhibitors and guests). I'd love to come back again, but unless I can get someone like Pocket Books to pay my admission, I don't see doing it again anytime soon. It's too expensive to justify the trip just to "attend".

I'll stick to the east coast and midwest shows for now; NASFiC in St. Louis next week and then Dragon*Con over Labor Day weekend.
