Mr. Flopnuts motorcycle thread and the muscle car thread got me to thinking...lets see some pics of CP scoots.

I sold this guy a little over a year ago to help with my house down-payment. I'll be getting another one next Spring. This time I'll get one that's a little newer.

My 2005 V-Max, 25th Anniversary Edition is FOR SALE!!
(taking advantage of the thread  )
Anyway, it only has just over 450 miles on it. I just don't ride it.
Not for the faint of heart! Should only be considered by experienced riders.

I've a question: Why do motorcyclists do that wave thing to each other when they ride past each other? Some kind of gay code?

It's just a way to be friendly. When you drive on the correct side of the road you can do that sort of thing.

Do riders of different types of motorcycles still do it? For example, a Harley and a crotch rocket go past each other.

if this happens, the crotch rocket rider waves and the harley rider just nods his head.

In my experience, 90% of the Harley guys still give the wave. I just figured the others didn't see me :)

Are you sure it isn't the 20th Anniversary Edition? I have an '85 and I'm 99.99% sure that was the first year.
Anyway, put a Kerker pipe on it...you'll love the sound and extra HP. You might decide to keep it!
Mine's been pretty tricked out and I have yet to lose a race to a street legal bike.

The Vulcan I have now is actually the 2nd Vulcan I have owned. Great all-around bike, perfect size, good power, good balance, comfortable and smooth.
My good friend had a Shadow for a time, which I liked but it seemed to sit a bit low, IIRC. I doubt I ever buy a Harley.

(and just out of curiosity, what would you consider a reasonable offer?)I have it listed on craigslist at the moment. There is one pic there (not a good one). I am getting divorced and the bike has to go. Unfortunately, I still owe quite a bit on it. If you are interested then please go to craigslist and respond via email through the listing. I've gotten several bites but people are acting like the bike has 10k miles on it.

I typically get flipped off by those guys. Doesn’t bug me much, I just flip’em off right back. What are they gonna do, turn around and catch me?

Yea, since kcfanXIII can’t seem to figure out the “edit” function, a mod should probably delete that link.

Thanks, the black paint etc. kind of disguised it. They were brand new when I bought my new CB450 in 71. I couldn't justify to myself forking over the additional $200 to get the 750. ROFL I think I gave $1150 for the new 450.

First motorized bike was a Honda moped (49cc). Then I got a 1971 Honda CB350 followed by a 93 Yamaha Virago 550. Then I got my current baby....05 Victory 8-ball.

Nice looking Victory.
Harley sells a “Night Train” model that’s similarly blacked out like that. Last poker run I went on a couple of guys had brand new Night Trains, one had to be loaded into a truck to finish the run because the “battery died”.

Thanks. I was planning to buy a HD Night Train (sharp looking motorcycle), until I saw the Vic. Then I decided to get an American made bike with a bigger engine, better brakes and fewer "battery problems" for $4000 less.

 No doubt.
I like the blacked out look. Drag Race’n buddy has his ‘Busa blacked out. All stickers removed, body and tank repainted, even had the swing arm powder coated all black.
Slick looking bike, and an absolute monster in a straight line.
