I think it affects mine, to be honest.

Before

LT: McIntosh, Svitek
LG: Waters, Bober
C: Wiegmann, Niswanger
RG: Welbourn, Taylor
RT: Terry, Sampson

PS: Pruneda

SOL: Stallings

After

LT: McIntosh, Turley
LG: Waters, Bober
C: Wiegmann, Niswanger
RG: Welbourn, Taylor
RT: Terry, Svitek

PS: Pruneda

SOL: Stallings, Sampson

I don't know. I can't see the Chiefs putting too much on Turley's shoulders, he hasn't done anything to make us think he'll be playing in November. Sampson showed promise but that was during the DickyV era and he's been unable to show it for Herm. Svitek should get an opportunity to get more playing time, his only problem was playing in Europe and getting worn out. Stallings wasn't that good in NFLE, I can't see keeping him unless we need a body.

Turley doesn't affect my depth chart because he's not on it. He's on the Chiefs' depth chart.

One thing I'm having a hard time with is, that I thought Turley took off the weight last year because of his back problems, so what makes him think he can come back now that he's back up to weight?

The more I think about it I'd rather have Svitek backup McI than Turley. Even if McI is serviceable we need to grow his replacement and Svitek looked like he might be a good choice. I just can't get over the thought of Turley being gone by week 4 for injuries and/or poor play. I do agree with Sampson being SOL, I think Delilah got to him.

turley over sampson, ok. It changed mine some.....

of course I'd probably have stallings over sampson too, but maybe that's just me.

unless he's bulked up again, turley won't be able to play at a high level, imo...

Turley can handle hisself as a back-up and spell-player..he's fast and smart..he can block at the guard spot if he has too .....

Turley doesn't affect my depth chart because he's not on it. He's on the Chiefs' depth chart.
That is just stupid.

Eh... Svitek simply doesn't have the build or natural abilities to make a serious run at starting LT, ever.

Everything I've read says he's bulking back up to New Orleans and St. Louis size. If that's the case, KEEP ****ING DOUBTING KYLE TURLEY!!1!!1!1!!! :cuss:

I suppose its possible that his back has healed with the time off & that he could be a solid backup.

But if i were a betting man, i'd say that he re-injures his back as early as camp & retires for good.

Wouldnt mind seeing him back, but not holding my breath.

NO.

DO NOT RESIGN TURLEY.

It will kill the OL depth chart if re-signing gets out of hand, it will simply kill the OL depth.

Who besides Turley? I just don't think he's going to make it even at backup.

Turley weighs over 300 pounds now.

Barring an act of God, there is no possible way he beats out Terry at RT.

Yeah I heard on the radio today that he was 309 and pretty solid. We'll see if the back can hold up. If it does I think he starts.

Turley will beat out Terry during training camp, Turley is bigger, better, started for the Chiefs last year, and played under thier Oline coach when he was in St. Louis.

Turley will work for RT job. LT only as 3rd-4th choice.

I'm fine with either Turley or Terry, I think both are pretty good. Turley said earlyer he wasn't going to sign anywhere unless he started at RT though.

Unless my depth chart is the official depth chart, I don't think it makes a shit's worth of difference what I think about Turley.

I listened to an interview with Turley on 610 this evening. He said he bulked up to 300 lbs. Moss asked him if he used roids to get there. He jokingly said yes. He followed with his story about knowing that he needed more weight and worked diligently this off season to add muscle mass. I guess we will see how much muscle and how much fat he gained during camp.

Turley's back will always be a problem. The problem just isn't going to magically go away. He would be a great option at RT, but you can almost count on him missing a few games when it flares up. That sends the line in flux, and I don't want to see that happen again like it did last season.

That's exactly the kind of joke that Chiefs fans want to hear.

Either way, out o-line is going to suck.
