CINCINNATI (TICKER) -- The Cincinnati Bengals were notified by the NFL on Thursday that suspended linebacker Odell Thurman's petition for reinstatement has been denied.
Thurman will be able to apply for reinstatement again following the 2007 season.
Thurman was suspended by the NFL for the first four games in 2006 after skipping a drug test, but that ban was extended to a full season following his arrest for a DUI in September.
