The Royals have the best record in the American League since June 24th. I know... it's only a month, but that is movement in the right direction folks. I'm liking this teams' scrappy style. I like it a lot. I believe the future is brighter on the north side of the Truman Sports Complex. Thank you Dayton Moore.

I also know I could have posted this in the game thread... but I can't attention whore as much that way... and I wanted to make sure EVERYONE knew. I'm proud of my team and that's been a long time coming.

Go OY!!!!

You know last year or the year before can't remember which, the Twins had one of the worst records un baseball until June and then had one of the best and made it or came very close to making it to the playoffs.

Not to discount what they've done since the start of June or so, but there are still 8 teams ahead of us for the wild card.

And, the Royals going into tonight were 36-31 in their last 67 games for a .537 pace over that stretch. Only 5 teams in the AL have better percentages for the WHOLE season to this point. Boston at .610, LA at .592, Detroit at .577, Cleveland at .571, and Seattle at .553.

Oh I agree. My point being that constantly saying "we aren't playin for this year" cause you get off to a slow start is a disease in our case.

If you aren't playing for this year, and we haven't for the last 15 years, then WTF are you playing for?

And we just kicked the crap out of 3 of those 5 in their house!

Wow I didn't realize that. Those damn crappy starts.

Holy crap on mom's shoes! Seriously? That's pretty cool. I wish I had been following the Royals more closely this season.

You can blame that pretty much in Buddy Bell. It usually takes him 2 months to remember what a SAC Bunt is.
