Nah. Calvin Johnson > Dwayne Bowe. I would have taken that pick in a heartbeat (assuming a Genie gave me the ability to make it happen).

Oh yeah hey lookit this.... Russell's agents don't wanna sign until they see what the #2 pick is getting. This is the first time they've represented a #1 and they don't want to end up getting leapfrogged by the deal that the #2 gets. That would be the last time their firm represents a #1 pick. It might be one of the reasons we see the same handful of teams who occupy the cellar continue to occupy the cellar. One bust in the top 5 can drain you of guaranteed money for five years.

I still wouldn't turn it down, but there's an assortment of reasonable perspectives for everything.
