For a big chain I would have to say Fresh Choice. For 6 bucks I get enough salad to go to last 3 days.

Some Best Values regionally.

Luigi's samich shop Medford Oregon. Ultimate Garbage grinder is an awsome massive toasted samich with all the fixings for like $7. You could feed a family of four with it.

Several local taqueria's. $1 taco's and they are the bomb. We are loaded with Mexican food values here in general.

Pablo's - SF Happy hour. Half price ultimate double steak nacho's. Half price $5, enough to feed a small army. Half price top shelf margaritas. Large with tons of high quality liquor and fresh squeezed limes $4.50 each.

IN an Out Burger! I would pay double what they charge.

Dennys provides a good breakfast value.

For me Zio's lunch. Dinner size portions of 6 items (Lasagna, Spaghetti (3 different sauces), Chicken Cannelloni, Monicotti) includes large salad House or Caesar and a loaf of french bread. All for 5.99, lets just say they know my voice when I call in a togo order.

Plus when I take my kids to eat there kids eat 1.99 with drink - lunch or dinner. PBJ

I stopped at In an Out yesterday and had a Double, Double. What was really nice was being about to enjoy it sitting outside in the 75 degree weather.

CiCi's pizza.

That's some of the cheapest made, nastiest pizza I've ever had.

Locally: Not in business anymore but I always loved Johnny Loo's burnt end salad for lunch.

Yep, just a notch above frozen. But hey, what a value. All you can eat for 3.99. It's tolerable, barely.

I second In N Out (Double Double, fried mustard, grilled onions, pickles and spread)

A sandwich place called Capriottis where you can get any 9 inch sub for under 7 bucks.

Here in Vegas, there is a sandwich place called Capriottis where you can get almost any 8 inch sub for around 7 bucks.
In Vegas the best fuggin place to get a pastrami w/ provolone is in the Venetian food court at that NY deli. Laugh all you want and then go there and disagree.

This little family owned Thai place near my house. Great lunch with appetizers for $7.Lots of refillable iced tea and the food is just GREAT! not big servings but that's what I prefer, especially for lunch which really should be more of a snack.

For a chain Sweet Tomatoes.

I'd also say Hops my favorite luncheon spot but it's more pricy and this thread was for value. Hops: great luncheon salmon, great chicken chil burrito ( great value), great almost everything. But was even better before they changed their menu....especially the house salad.

I am sure it is good, but these Capriotti's are all around town and I don't usually go to the strip to eat unless I have comps. I will check it out though.

Also, California Pizza Kitchen is pricey, but delicious.

I try and make a steady diet of Double Doubles when I am out in California. They are not always easy to find, but they are worth it.

Village Inn for a chain.

When I'm in Mesa, AZ (as I am now) we do VI for lunch quite often. I had only eaten there for breakfast in KC, but since we usually have 5-6 at lunch they have something for everyone and it's good food.

The cheapest fill is Taco Bell. You can get stuffed on $5. It's not the greatest but it works in a pinch.

Manny's Mexican in KC. Huge meals, most expensive meal on the menu is like $15.

Chain: Sonic has two for one burgers on Tuesday nights. And their drink choices are the best.
