The Royals aren't playing the Yankees tonight. 4-1 Royals in the sixth.

I hate the Yankees for what they do to the Royals. Nice to see our bats going now.

Ok 5-1 going into the 9th....been another gem pitched by Bannister. Too bad we had the outage I would of liked to have seen him go for the CG.

Bannister has been the best trade by DM by far, what a steal!

I would go so far as to say Bannister is quietly becoming this year's MVP. I couldn't be happier with him.....

TP Jr has to be brought in to mention also. That was a steal so far.

I laugh thinking back to the "experts" who said there was no way Bannister could keep up his great pitching.

Every time out: 7IP, 1 ER
I'll take it every day of the week, and twice on Sunday

he definetly is learning how to pitch and there are many pitchers ala jamie moyer/kenny rogers that can pitch without "good" stuff, evne though bannister doesn't have bad "stuff".

Tom Glavine just won his 300th game with out a 95 mph fastball. He did it by learning how to change speeds and locations. That is the key to being successful.

If you have a 95 mph fastball 92 slider and nothing else, they are gonna catch up to it.

Exactly...

Huge reason Johan Santana is excellent as well cause he does have the high fastball and that supe slow change.
