I have a friend at work who is a godfather to one of his nieces. He recently had a friend from high school ask him if he would be a godfather to her and her husband's child. He was unsure about if he could be a godfather to more than one child.

I'm sure he could ask his priest/pastor, but I got curious too. I've been looking some stuff up. I've found quite a bit about the child having more than one godparent, but nothing on if a person can be a godparent to more than one child. From the description and lists of requirements/responsibilities, I don't see why one couldn't be.

I know that there are quite a few Catholics on this BB, so I thought I would ask some of you. I'm a Baptist, so what do I know? :)

35. My friend had twins! How is this going to affect her choice of godparents? First of all, it should be understood that a godparent can have more than one godchild. In other words, different children can enjoy the same godparent.
