W00t!

Just got done with Staff/Faculty Select A Seat at Allen Field House. My wife volunteered to help out with the process, and that added 6 years to her service record. Combine that with having our tickets every year, and her additional service on the Faculty Senate, and I won't have a student section in front of us standing up through the entire game.

Every year my seats have improved, and thanks to changes in the process, we'll have these seats for the next two years.

Where are they?

Section 9, middle of the way up, towards the northern aisle.

No student sections in front of me, and the band won't block my view even when they're standing.

I hate hearing about any person bitching about students standing up the whole time. Are you one of those old folks that pretty much sits there like a log the entire game?

I just don't understand people I guess. Is it laziness? Is it that they feel they are too mature to stand up and get loud? What is it exactly that makes the 'old crowd' the people who bring down the atmosphere at these games.

Kstate football has the same problem. West side of the stadium are all old farts that will hardly push their weight in any cheers.

lame.
