The timing of Eddie Drummond's release gives him a better chance to land another job. Drummond said he expected to sign elsewhere soon and he had heard Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Tampa Bay and Denver were interested.

I think this came from the Detroit Free Press.

Anybody? I don't know anything about him....

Pretty good return good guy. I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in.

Reggie Williams looks as though he will get cut from the Jags.

Don't know enough about him, though. Just know he was a first rounder and is still relatively young.

I wouldn't argue against bringing in any WR's at this point.

I would bring him in, he's another big WR.

He's injury prone to say the least. Think about it, if the Lions don't want him, he must really suck. I give you Johnnie Morton and Brett Perriman as exhibits A&B.

He's kind of old isn't he?

He is? I thought Drummond was more on the smallish side.

And DMAC if Reggie Williams gets cut and the Chiefs don't make a run at him I will be severely disappointed. He didn't look to shabby against us last year.

If Williams gets cut loose in Jacksonville he should be immediately signed by Kansas City.

Eddie Drummond worked out for the Chiefs on Saturday.

Drummond would replace Jeff Webb as the team's kick returner. The addition of Drummond could be bad news for backup returner and fifth WR Chris Hannon.
