My mrs is from Kansas saw alot of tornadoes growing up,hell she was even born while one was touching down near her hometown.

Anyhow when we decided to build a pole barn to live in she was like no way in hell without a storm shelter,so we have a metal wood framed pole barn with a room downstairs with 5 or 6 foot of concrete all the way around it and I like to call it her bombshelter.

In defense of Springfield....I believe the largest gathering had 6 or 8 people there (from what I heard). Considering the number of posters that live in Springfield, that's a pretty high percentage.

Yeah I was getting a little worried since the Savannah fire dept guy had said there'd be no fireworks or bonfire unless we get rain.I'd say we're well on our way to being okay now.

They are still calling for "isolated" chances of a tornado from a line from St. Joe, to Maysville, to Gallatin, up to Bethany til 9pm... We're not even in a watch anymore, but the National Weather Service has called all us spotters to be on the lookout incase...

Yeah, we (Atlanta) got nailed tonight w/ a thunderstorm. Power was out until about 20 minutes ago, out since 6 pm. Not quite the rain quantity you guys got.
