I did my $50 redraft league last Sunday. I had the 7th overall pick and drafted the following team...
QB
Mark Bulger
Vince Young
RB
Frank Gore
Reggie Bush
Kevin Jones
Brandon Jackson
Adrian Peterson
Mike Bell
WR
Larry Fitzgerald
Andre Johnson
Plaxico Burress
Santonio Holmes
TE
Vernon Davis
Kicker
Jeff Wilkins
LB
Keith Bullock
DB
Adrian Wilson
We have 1pt per reception so I think I made out well with Bush and Gore as my starters.

Did my first of 2 drafts yesterday afternoon. We pony up $25 at the start, overall best record gets $100, playoff champ gets $100, second gets $30 and 3rd $20. There are 10 teams. One thing you should know is that we give quarterbacks 6 points for TD passes. I don't really understand why so many leagues diminish the value of hte most important player on the field. We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, D/ST, K and have 5 bench positions. I am the commissioner and I drafted 9th, serpentine.
QB - Palmer (rd 1)
QB - Delhomme (rd 11)
RB - Bush (rd 2)
RB - James (rd 4)
RB - McAllister (rd 5)
RB - Cadillac Williams (rd 10)
WR - Tory Holt (rd 3)
WR - Braylon Edwards (rd 7)
WR - Joey Galloway (rd 8)
WR - Santana Moss (rd 9)
TE - Gonzalez (rd 6)
TE - Graham (14)
K - Gostkowski (12)
D/ST - Dallas (13)
Overall, I think I had an average draft. I had trouble with the Bush pick. It was between him and Travis Henry, and I refuse to root for a Bronco. I know it's counterintuitive toward the overall goal of winning, but it would seriously take some of hte joy out of it for me. He had a nice season last year, but not a #1 RB season. I'm taking a gamble that he'll bust loose this year.
I think I jumped for Braylon Edwards but I needed to load up on WR at that point and I like his skill set if he can stay healthy. Gonzo was the second TE taken. Gates went in the 4th round so I felt I had waited long enough. Like QB's after those top 3 or 4 it's pretty lame and in a head to head league, tight ends make big differences when you are consistently winning that matchup. I had a tough time deciding between him and Shockey, but went with my heart.
Edge was the best RB available in the 5th round and I wanted Deuce as a bookend to Bush. I may start both of them some weeks. I had Cadillac last year in my other league, but he was my second round pick and that completely screwed me. I think he'll have a better year this than last. Yahoo! ranks him 38 and I got him with a pick somewhere in the 100's. I thought that's pretty good value for your #4 RB.
Delhomme I got because he has a decent matchup during Palmer's bye week (@ NO) and I'm not 100% sold on their running game either. Kickers and D's are crap shoots after the top 2 or 3 anyway. I'll probably end up dropping either or both at some point.
With my last pick I originally took Jason Witten, but made a mistake on that because he has the same bye as Gonzo. So my buddy was looking to take a TE with his last pick so he picked Graham for me and now we'll just trade 14th rounders.

12 man, $100 per owner, got the first pick
Starters: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST
QB: Vince Young (R6), Farve (R10)
RB: LT (R1), Jones-Drew (R2), Cacillac Williams (R5), Fred Taylor (R9), Warrick Dunn (R11)
WR: Roy Williams (R3), Andre Johnson (R4), Braylon Edwards (R8), Devery Henderson (R13)
TE: David Martin (R12)
K: Josh Brown (R14)
D: Patriots (R7)
I really soft at TE but I'm not worried about that. I like Vince Young but thought it was important to get him backed up with a solid Vet QB.
My favorite picks were Warrick Dunn, Braylon Edwards, and Devery Henderson. I think all three have a ton of upside but I didn't have to reach to grab them.

WR - Donte Stallworth
WR - Eddie Kennison

RB - James (rd 4)
Two of my leagues do the same 6pts and we also give 1 pt for each 25 yds passing.
As for Edge I've got him too and I don't like what I've been reading, sounds as though Wisenhunt is not planning on using him around the goaline.

12 man leage, $50 entry winner takes all. must start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST. I had the 12th pick
QB - McNabb, Big Ben
RB - Travis Henry, Reggie Bush, LenDale White
WR - M. Colston, Darrell Jackson, Berrian, Stallworth
TE - Gates, O. Daniels
K- Kasay, Suisham
DST - Bears, Bengals
I think I did pretty well considering the draft position.
Only 1 of my 2 drafts so far, this one is a $20 fun league, redraft, 12 teams, I picked 8th. Unique aspect of this league is 3 flex (RB/WR/TE) starts, plus 1 req. RB and WR/TE, and typical 1QB, 1K, 1D.

New England in the 4th? Bulger in the 2nd? Kinda Early don't ya think?
I had my eye on Bulger for the 3rd or 4th round but all the good QB's were getting scooped up early. Manning, Palmer, Brees and Brady were already gone by the time I got my 2nd pick. I think he's gonna have huge #'s this season. Easy schedule, great WR's and a new TE. Plus, Jackson catches almost as much as he rushes.
For New England, I really had my eye on them too. They'll be the Bears of this season. Probably early but I got what I was after. Talking to others in the draft I figured I wouldn't get them by the 5th round.
The draft was last night. Got very loaded. The wife found be passed out on the front porch. I guess I nodded off while looking for my house keys. :BLVD:

Do you get points for the coaches....like for wins and losses?
Here's mine, I had the 6th position, serpentine draft, $100 per team. Keep in mind this is a 16 team league, standard scoring. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 K, 1D.
We use averages on bye weeks, meaning you can start a player on a bye and you get his average points for that spot (as long as he was in your lineup the prior week)

5 PTS FOR A WIN
2.5 FOR A TIE
0 FOR A LOSS
It used to be 10,5 & 0 but there were way too many games being decided by coaches, still makes for an interesting draft though and the fantasy site we use to run our league allows coaches so there's no manual points that have to be added.

Definetly interested, will do for sure.
scoring is .1 pts per rushing/recieving yd, and 6 pts per rushing/recieving TD. passing TDs are 4 pts, and 1 pt per 25 yds passing. .5 pts per reception. You also get bonus when a guy goes over 300 yds passing or 100 yds recieving/rushing.

RB - Westbrook (9), Parker (12), J. Jones (72), Morency (112)

TE - Cooley (89)

D/ST - Jax, Carolina
This is the first year we've done PPR, but my guess is that 4th and 5th WR will be better flex plays than 3rd and 4th RBs (based on the undervaluation of yards as compared to receptions). Hence I'm WR heavy.

I know what was meant. I just wouldn't want VY as my starting QB. Rofflesberger is a great back up, however.

Should contend, despite the Philly pick at 81.
DEF's were flying off the board. It was either take them there, or wait 18 picks to see what was left, and most likely rely on a free agent DEF.
Seems everybody freaked when CHI was taken.
My team seemed strong so far, worth the stretch.
