None. We don't let him throw the ball. Passing the ball is too risky. We don't like risk. We like safe. We want Damon to manage the game. Managing the game is something Damon can do real well. He's a great manager. Good. Great. Manager. Damon will manage the game, greatly, by handing the ball off to LJ on every play. That way we can play risk-free, mistake-free football lead by our workhourse and supreme game-manager quarterback.

And that, folks, is # 7000.

16 to 6 Houston.

We fail to score until the defense picks up a fumble and runs it back in the last minute of the fourth quarter. Hermoine goes for two and calls a quarterback draw. Downfield reads the defense and audibles to a pitch which goes out of bounds.

The thing that scares me most about this opener is that Houston hasn't allowed a 1st quarter score in the preseason yet. That's their starting defense. And they played against Arizona (AMAZING offensive talent, semi-decent O-Line), Dallas (Pretty respectable offense), and Chicago (Still not a terrible offense). I'd say that we are on par with these offenses, but we just don't have the o-line to help us through this defense. Hopefully this is just a fluke and we don't get destroyed by this defense.

24-3Chiefs win. Huard is pulled in 2nd Quarter, Croyle comes in and looks like a young Joe Namath The new revamped D comes to life with Donnie Edwards getting two sacks. Colquit puts every punt inside the 15 yd line.

Could it be that people think it's a REALISTIC possibility that we lose?

This is not the Texans team we beat 45-17 two years ago. Many upgrades on both sides of the ball.

8 to 6 you ask?

Simple Chiefs go for 3 FGs & miss one..a 30 yarder.
Losing field position all game(due to Marty ball style) in the 4th qaurter the Texans get a safety.

Now for my day dream score.

Chiefs 23

24-16.. Texans

Our defense is on the field for 40+ minutes and eventually cracks and gives up the go ahead score..

one TD pass to TG and 3 FG's, two more FG's were missed a 42 and 47 yarder...

The TD pass to TG and two FG's came from turnovers and a stop by the defense at midfield..

LJ has 87 yards on 23 carries, Huard is 13-27 for 123 yards, 1td and 3ints...

I hope I am wrong I really do...
