I realize point spreads are definitely more challenging but you can't lose if you pick the winner.

Really last year I picked winner and because they did not win by the spread I did not get the point for it... It was a CP last year that I was in..


IMO grief does not equal more challenging...

I was just busting your balls on the way you worded it,as for challenging I know plenty who would agree that handicapping is much harder than a straight up pick.

The favorites are the in favorite column to the left.. That will change once they put out line I assume... Once the season starts you will notice the difference a bit easier...

as I've said about FF leagues. It's all about the software behind it to allow this type of flexibility. How much does Yahoo care? voice your opinion to them (for what that's worth).

YES. It was a two man race between me and MeSTevo until I missed getting my picks in a couple of weeks ago, now it's anyones ballgame.

I've remembered to do my picks all season before this Thursday's games, that's the first one I didn't have the time to do (work's been mad busy, ended up in meetings so couldn't do my picks).

Last week I thought I did the same that I was going to do this week... I always do my stuff late Saturday night. I am in another pickem on yahoo (the CP straight up on) and that allowed me to pick the remainder of the games... so either as a byproduct of having the margins or just a general setting I was not able to do the picks despite the setting reading '5 minutes before the start of the game'.

oh well, shit happens, was just frustrated last night when it wouldn't let me pick :)

Good luck to everyone, I've certainly had plenty of it. I live in Vegas and have never bet on a game so this was fun. :)

You can make your picks five minutes before the game...


Now the points spread league is the one that bans you for the whole week if you forget..

I would try again steve, it let me into the screen to make selections for the games that have not happen yet on the jsut the favorites account...

I was able to for the straight pickem, the one with the odds, i was locked all season. Others have had the same problem, my fault for not making time earlier in the week. Like someone else posted, I am going to go in and make the rest of the picks for the year and just review them each week to prevent this from happening again.

Still in 6th place but I'm 5 games out with 3 weeks left to play. I don't think I'm going to be able to catch the leaders. You might though.

I had 2 really bad 5 for 14 weeks that cost me too much ground.
