What's with the recent spate of people posting new topics that contain nothing but a freaking link to another website? If Bob Dole wanted to visit CNN.com, Bob Dole would just go to CNN.com.

If you're going to try to impress everyone with your timely discovery of the latest news, at least take the time to REALLY impress folks and copy and paste the friggin text of the news you're breaking.

(And conversely, if you're going to post the text, include a link to the source so we have some indication about the reliability of the source.)

When I try to copy the actual article, the hard returns don't copy over and I don't feel like putting them back in.

I agree with Bob Dole, I hate it when people expect me to click things because then I have to wait for an entire new page to load up and I simply don't have the patience for that. If you want me to read the story, post it here.
