View Full Version : What position should we draft with our top 5 pick in April?

I say we should go for a LT or RT. Or, we could use a QB, CB, DT, WR.

I'm not asking what player/name to draft. It's too early for that. But we already know what positions are needing to be upgraded.

Obviously, I think we'll have a top 5 pick. We'll probably be 5 -11 or worse. I'm not seeing anything encouraging at all. I'm dissappointed with the defense.

A running back. To replace Larry Johnson, since he'll suffer a career-ending injury or be traded for sure.

Best available player, but given the value that will most likely be there at LT (with Long and Baker), it would be hard to argue against either.

That depends on wheather or not we let Croyle play enough to know what we have. If Croyle is allowed to play we will know if we need to draft a qb or not.

"With the 3rd pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select, offensive coordinator: Paul Hackett"

I would take a new GM or HC... either would be an upgrade of this crap we have...

Oh and watching Herm be the loser he is, is very enjoyable!

I'm not sure about Herm's game plan, but I do think he's a good evaluator of talent and has good drafts.

k, i changed my mind, we should trade it for a later 1st round pick and 2nd and whatever else makes it an even trade, then take the best two o lineman and a fullback in the first two rounds

Do what ever it takes to get Colt Brennan.

And fire Edwards; hire Bill Cowher.

That is why I am always stumped when Carl's Dumb F*cked Ass drafts one...

What a waste of draft position, when you are going to start the next rejected loser that has been in the league for 11 years...

The entire Front Office would need to be fired if we take a FB early.

Same as if we draft a safety in the first round like Buffalo did.

Good point, if thats the case then get rid of Peterson as well. Although I think if Cowher were hired starting a rookie franchise-type QB would not be an issue; he would do it in a second.

Without an LT there is no man alive that could effectively QB this team.
