Don't get me wrong. I like Boomer. I just don't see what he's done to earn magazine covers, weekly articles, and bonus coverage. Seriously, has he ever had a regular season tackle that wasn't on special teams? Obviously he's not had a carry or a catch.

duh......he's a country white boy. It's a race issue according to some on this board.

But seriously, the bottom line is that he's on the cover of magazines and getting serious face time on Hard Knocks etc because he's a popular player with the fans.

I think that the way the game is played now with few people on a team willing to give it their all on and off the field to better themselfs to play the game, Boomer stands out in the minds of the fans.
