We do all kinds of fantasy around here. Fantasy girls we'd like to tap, fantasy cars we'd like to own, fantasy lives we'd like to lead.

I'm not going give a guy crap about his fantasy football thread. I have chosen to refrain from creating my own thread, but I undertand why we do it.

We also create a lot of threads more or less declaring that if people create threads that I wouldn't ever create, then they're dorks for not being more like me.

I guess that's part of some sort of superiority fantasy, eh?

The last year I played... two years ago... I drafted two teams in a 10 person league cause someone dropped out at the last minute. I played myself in the Super Bowl. But you're probably right. Heh.

I would disagree with that. I picked my team and I feel pretty good about it. I know its weaknesses and its strengths, and hopefully I'll be able to maximize one while minimizing the other.

That said, I posted my team because I like to hear what other people think.

I guess I'm more annoyed with the "who should I start?" or "who should I take with this pick?" or "should I do this trade?" threads. If it's your ff team your opinion should be the only one that matters.


That, and when people do post their "rate my ff team" threads, most of the replies are people posting their own squads instead of rating the thread starter's team.

I agree. I've been playing FF for several years but I'm always looking for any and all info about my players I can get.
And sometimes you just post your team to brag about how good you did in the draft. Like I did this year. Drafted what I thought was a killer FF team. That is until Hootie informed me that Larry Johnson is nothing but a major ??? this year. Really burst my bubble. I was counting on LJ to really put up some killer numbers. Oh well, at least Hootie was good enough to let me know. Maybe I will drop LJ and see if I can pick up a better RB.:D
