You can have 9 guys on the PS if one is from a foreign country. They got that big dude from Mexico on the PS

In all seriousness, good news. Now if he does deliver the goods a lot of us expect he can, the coaches will have no choice to get rid of some trash we'll inevitably have active on gameday and promote Sippio.

Don't you Dis Rich. We had to release him from his contract so he could go down and stop Hurricane Felix. I just hope we did it in time.

Here's an idea. We should design a big 'S' on a shield and print them on T-shirts and wear them to the games as soon as the SipperMan is activated.

The scout.com tracker has been saying this since yesterday afternoon. I don't think any other place has confirmed it, and the Chiefs' site hasn't added him. People have said they want to sign him to the PS, but nobody's actually said that it happened.

For whatever it's worth, I did hear one of the radio stations say that Sippio was at practice yesterday, but that his 24 hour waiver period wasn't up yet. So if he did clear waivers, it seems he does plan to stay. If he's still there today, that should put an end to it.

... watch your back Parker!!! week 2 benching. I'd much rather see sippio screaming across the field like a crazy person than Samie Parker smiling after a 3rd down drop. Sorry but I hate that little bastard.

Here's hoping that another team wants to sign Sippio and the Chiefs are pressured into activating him.

This is all Ethan Locke's fault.
If Bowe had been in on time, the FO would be confident releasing Parker, a Wide Receiver spot would be open and Sippio would be on the active roster.

In fact, Bobby has a line of athletic apparel coming out in the spring. The supporters are called "Sipper Cups".

Because he the rare and coveted ability to catch the f*cking ball when it's thrown to him, unlike one of our starting receivers (and sometimes the other one, too).

You're basing that on what? Hardknocks? The arena league? Sippio didn't do jack shit in Preseason. He's an enigma.

No, I'm basing that on Parker's inability to be clutch and catch the ball when it hits him in his hands. If you have a guy who can't do his job on your team that's going into his fourth year, then it's time to give that guy his papers. Frankly, Sippio can't be any worse.

Because it would be nice to have more than one WR who can catch the ball. That's all.

The same cannot be said for anybody else at WR besides Kennison. Getting rid of Parker this season would be foolish, IMO. I think Parker could be lights out as the slot reciever.

You're a forgiving guy. But by saying he should be the slot guy, do you think he's not worthy to be a starter?

I can still object to his number though. WTF is 18 for a WR?

I think he would be a better slot reciever than a starter because he isn't as physical as you would like to have in a starting wide-out. The slot better utilizes his speed and can create mis-matches.

His one decent attribute(beside all world speed) is the ability to block downfield. Very important for Herm's run philosophy.
This still doesn't outweigh his inability to make the routine catch. The stupid first down celebration he feels compelled to have us watch when he does his job is another reason I won't be sorry to see him released.
