Anybody know if the Chiefs plan on renegotiating Allen's contract during the season? Now would seem the best time, IMO, before he becomes too expensive.

Now would absolutely be the best time.
He's already said he'll accept any verbiage that affords the Chiefs the opportunity to kill his contract based on another indiscretion.
