After watching the Raiders, Broncos and Lions we are screwed. All teams scored more than 10 points.

I can't see Elam missing 2 FG's a game so we can't rely on that.

Kitna has schooled us before and will again I am sure.

I can't see us ever getting past the 50 against the Bears or Chargers. Baltimore will plainly own us. So we must hope we catch the Bills on an off day and maybe snag one againt GB or the Raiders at home.


Our D will be worn out quick each game with the way Solari calls games.

Vikes are going to beat the Chiefs - I thought differently until I watched AP run wild yesterday (I tape the Vikes and watch the Chiefs when they are head to head). Second, their defense is better than ours. Third, they actually START their young QB.

Well, even that could have a positive spin. If we were to beat the Vikings that would have us at 1-2 and we would likely keep Huard in because we would still be "in contention." If the Vikings beat us we will likely go 0-4 and would be more likely to start Croyle earlier in the season.

I watched and enjoyed a good portion of the Raiders game - they are PATHETIC - there was nothing good any fan could possibly take from that game (OK - they scored a touchdown or 2) - losing to Detroit at home in your opener???!!! The league was basically giving Al Davis a freaking freebie!!

The good news for raider fans is that since the majority of them have a brain the size of a cat, within 5 seconds of the end of the game, they totally forgot everything and quickly got back into the bag of catnip.
