It seems ESPN doesn't want their main crew getting showed up again... they went with Mike & Mike for the 2nd game instead of Nessler and Vermeil like last year.

Speaking of which, I'm PISSED that I lost my ESPN Radio station here this weekend. They switched it to AM country -- RIGHT WHEN FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS!

No more Mike and Mike in the mornings ... no more weekend college and pro talk ... no baseball insider stuff ... GODDAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like we need another fuggin country station around here ... and AM to boot. 173 country stations, ZERO sports talk.

Yep, one of the reasons I had to keep getting updates. I was searching for updates exiting the town and all I found was Garth Brooks.

Matt Leinart couldn't play here anyway he's to smart. He'd throw the ball downfield and Herm would freak out that he was trying to make plays.

Then he'd talk about how USC has a more advanced offensive playbook than Herm Edwards does.

That's the really funny part. When they made the switch Saturday morning, they played only ONE song over and over and over -- Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places." They played it all weekend and didn't get the station up and running properly until this afternoon.

Weak arm.

It looks like Elways compared to Huard. Alex Smiths is even weaker. He kind of floats his balls.

Just stop, please. You're just giving everybody major headaches. Alex Smith's arm is above average, better than Chad Pennington. But it is deftinaly not a "cannon."

A cannon would be more of the likes of Croyle, Favre, George, Marino, etc.

You know what I mean.....I'll use Miami as an example they had what 30 first round picks in like 4 years? Something like that? Nearly all of those guys are good/great players too...we didn't take 1.

USC is becoming that now yet we don't draft anyone from that school...

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was just being sarcastic. But I do see your point in the Miami part. Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Santana Moss, etc etc.

However, Miami U is no longer QB U as they used to be.

Mecca
09-10-2007, 09:57 PM
I honestly think that's a reason we suck at drafting...there's a reason those teams produce NFL players yet we go take guys from schools that generally don't.

Just throw it to Vernon Davis my fantasy team needs it.

Mecca

Late flags look bad, like the player asked for it and the ref obliged.
