I was listening to 810 just a bit ago... I dont see anything on the front page here. Dear GOD, PLEASE DONT BE A repost.

Apparently, the song has guns in it, and he talks about killing people.

Dogs on Carl Peterson, Priest, and how he doesnt want to play for KC.

Anyone have additional info on this?

All freestyle rapping is like that. If he likes it, then thats really all that matters. Not what you or me think. I have heard shit 100x worse then what LJ said. Worse by shitty, and worse by insanely gross.

I have always disliked LJ as a person, this further proves my point. Who cares if he's "freestyling" or not. You don't say shit like that. If I made CD of me saying F You to my manager, and all my co-workers, and the company in general, pretty sure I'd get fired. Complete garbage again from LJ if this is truly his material.

Haha, I still appreciate his production on the field. I've always maintained he's a dbag though. Is this really confirmed that this is Larry? He seemed to clean up his act in the last couple years, if this is really him, very dissapointing. It sure sounds like him.

We had an empire? Why didn't anyone text me or email or something!!

Dave

We were in the top 4 in attendance for the last five years AT LEAST, and have got to have a top 5 record since 1995 at least. The teams that had higher attendance than KC were the likes of Washington, NY JETS, NY GIANTS. That is pretty good god damn company. I'd say we have an empire super bowl or not. Compare that to the interest level of our baseball team..29th and 30th perenially in attendance..not so much.

No, you have to be GOOD to win the wildcard. To win the NL Central, you just need to be the top retard. The only thing the Cardinals have that Chicago and Milwaukee don't is a pretty henious series of misfortunes to claim as excuses. Well, that and a seven game losing streak. :banghead:

Come on guys, he didn't move to PA until he got into his Soph. year of high school. Before that he grew up in Maryland, somewhat rough. Ha, but no gun slingers. These guys he was hanging out with, SBL, probably got him pissed off by egging him on. And he wasn't signed, wanted his money, so he decided to spit a freestyle. Not a big deal. I wonder what Jay-Z would say if he heard this? Probably cuss him out like he did for being in that Fantasia video?

I didnt see LJ's name listed as a band member, hopefully he has no connection to this, but if he does...

I would be crushed, this guy truly has HOF potential & could easily cement himself as a Living Legend in KC...not to mention that i love, Love, LOVE his running style.

LJ, IF this is true, i will feel unbelievably betrayed...i've tried to get behind you & understand you through all of your trials here & came to the conclusion that your heart was in the right place.

But IF, this is true, you can take your millions & stick'em so far up your ass that you cough money.

Sure, Carl played tough in negotiations...like he ALWAYS does...but in the end, you both arrived at a figure that was agreeable to both. You better NEVER forget, Carl believed in you from DAY 1 & stood by you despite Dick V's feelings. Because of Carl you have a chance to basically OWN Kansas City. You could open up the shittiest restaurant in town & folks would STILL flock there.

Priest???...Whether or not you two were 'down' with each other, whether or not he 'took you under his wing'...Priest was an AMAZING player here & will always get his respect. In a few years, will YOU go out of your way to help another talented young man claim your Throne??? I sure as f@ck doubt it...i wouldnt. He's no longer a factor here...GET OVER IT!!!

I dont want to believe a word of this thread, but again, if its true...you suck...if these are your feelings, how are we fans (most of whom basically believe the sun rises & sets off of your ass) supposed to believe you'll give your all???

Say It Aint So Larry...

LARRY JOHNSON SONG!
Category: Music

Recently, the news media has taken it upon itself to making up slanderous lies and suggestions about our pages, releasing our music without permission, as well as making verbal attacks against Larry Johnson.

Allow me to clear this up, the song we recorded of Larry Johnson is an edited version. The original words are "Hey Carl Peterson, I'm back and runnin' in-" or something to that effect. I have the original, unedited version still on my computer. We used the program "Cool Edits Pro" to switch his words around.

I am sorry to Larry Johnson, who doesn't deserve to be effected by something as trivial as a song, and hope that both of our carreers are not ruined.

TO THE MEDIA:
If you're going to keep using our music, at least give us credit, you tools.

Lol. I want to see some reporter just rail him for this.

Reporter 1: "Lj about your rap song..."

LJ: " Uh next"

Reporter 2: " Guns...Gangsters..Maryland/Penn State?"

LJ: "well uh"

would be great to see him put on the spot. I mean LJ is an amazing runner but seriously he might be letting it get to his head.

Johnson denies rap song responsibility

* Warning: Graphic, profane language | MySpace page with alleged Larry Johnson rap song

Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson says he had nothing to do with a derogatory rap song on a Myspace Web site.

Johnson denied being the recording artist of the song, which contains foul language and images of guns. It also takes shots at Chiefs General Manager Carl Peterson and running back Priest Holmes.

“That’s not my voice,” Johnson told NBC Action News Thursday evening. “If someone’s imitating me, that’s more than … you know kudos to them.”

Johnson held out most of the Chiefs pre-season training camp as he negotiated a new contract with the club.

The Star will have more details later today

So I'm checking fantasy football news this morning and right on the front page of Rotoworld a piece from the KC Star

Larry Johnson denies being involved in the release of a rap song containing derogatory lyrics about Chiefs GM Carl Peterson and Priest Holmes.
The song was discovered on MySpace and contains foul language and images of guns. "That’s not my voice," Johnson said Thursday evening. "If someone’s imitating me, that’s more than...you know kudos to them." L.J. was involved in a contract dispute with Chiefs management in training camp.

Let's get the story right. Joe Hall and L.J. are not S.B.L. they just did a few tracks. The are not signed to
Basement Entertainment, but do appear with S.B.L.... Thanks to Joe Hall for all the tracks. He is like modern
day Tupac with his delivery on the mic, and how quickly he turns out quality tracks. The Chiefs should have
keep the fastest fullback in football.
We made the track when the Cheifs were holding out on L.J., not him hold out on them......

If I made CD of me saying F You to my manager, and all my co-workers, and the company in general, pretty sure I'd get fired.
Not if you were the most (only?) productive employee in the company, head and shoulders above the rest, as well as having a good chunk of your salary guaranteed.

This is such abig deal out of nothing. We have no new info here. LJ has NEVER been in love with this city, that should surprise no one. He has always been alone in the lockerroom (it seems) so I doubt he's really alienating anyone. The only thing this hurts is his already less than stellar relationship with KC fans... and I doubt he cares.

As far as the bigger picture of a "runaway" NFL, if this were the NFL's worst problem, they'd be doing pretty damn good. Saying a few bad words on a record is tons better than the crap we hear about most days.

I honestly don't have much of a problem with him saying what he said.

He certainly isn't the first player to feel that way about Peterson, particularly in the midst of contract negotiations. As for Priest, everybody from Whitlock to half the posters here were speculating that his comeback might be leverage against LJ.

It's probably something they threw together.. just a bunch of friends screwing around. I seriously doubt he thought it would ever see the light of day.

What I do have a problem with, is the stupidity behind saying anything like that in front of a mic. That's just unbelievably moronic.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Chiefs RB Larry Johnson said a profanity-laced rap track posted on MySpace.com attributed to him was done by an impersonator - and it's not the first time it's happened.

Johnson made a brief statement after the team's practice on Friday, and did not take any questions from reporters.

"I've had people impersonating me on MySpace pages and I alerted NFL security about the rap that's on the internet - that's supposedly rapped by me. It's in NFL security's hands and I'm pretty sure they'll take care of it to the best of their ability. I'm really worried about the Chicago Bears on Sunday and letting things go from there," Johnson said to reporters.

The rap track takes shots General Manager Carl Peterson and teammate Priest Holmes and mentions guns and violence.

The MySpace page says the track was recorded at the studios of the SBL Mob - a Kansas City-based rap group. One of the members is former Chief and K-State RB Joe Hall.

We're more spun up about what a football player, whom 99% of us will never meet in their lifetime, says on in a stupid song than we are about the football game coming up on Sunday (which most of us think there's no hope at winning).

How badly have the Chiefs as an organization fallen that we've got fans screaming to cut one of the best players this team's ever had because he sang a song dissing the Chiefs and CP?

Why do we care?

Does he perform on Sundays?

That's what I care about.

Will he want a trade in a few years?

Why do we care?

Does he run for a bunch of yards before we trade him?

That's what I care about.

Players acted just as bad or worse in the 50s, 60s, 70s and no one gave a crap. The older players just had the advantage of no internet and sports reporters who'd rather party with the athletes rather than tattle on them.

I don't care if LJ dances naked in the Plaza fountains and sings bad Beyonce songs as long as he runs for 125 on Sunday. He's a frappin' entertainer, being paid to play a kid's game in front of 70,000+ people on Sunday. Beyond that, I have no desire to know what he does Monday through Saturday.

I think the obsession the American public has with celebrity is an amusing thing to watch from the outside.

Larry, man up to being a dumbass!Yep.

"I apologize for my comments. I was very frustrated during my holdout, and I said some things I didn't mean. I apologize to Carl Peterson, my teammates, and the Kansas City Chiefs fans for my poor judgment."

Some times it's best to just bite the bullet and say, "You know what guys? I really ****ed up this time. I'm sorry about that."

This is all just obvious damage control, and it's pouring gas on the fire.

I highly doubt Goodel likes the fact that LJ got the NFL Security Pinkerton force all revved up to find the guys he claims impersonated him. That, alone, should be enough to get Goodell pretty pissed off, now that people that were with Johnson during the rap session say he is lying.

Way to go Carl. No one could see this coming for the past couple of years; Thanks for dumping a ton of cash into this assclown and fugging the organization over for a few more decades.

That's my point.

It's obvious the team I've been following since 1967 has just about hit rock bottom.

No one gives a damn about this season any more. We're at the point where talking about anything other than the actual football games is more cathartic.

Bring out the bread and circuses.

I like the fact that the Chiefs organization just handed the ingrate
$50 million and he sees fit to trash them 2 weeks later. Pure class, Larry.

There's not a bigger loser than Carl Peterson, but for Johnson to rip him, Priest, then lie about it, is simply pathetic. Anyone who didn't see this sort of crap coming from him a year ago, simply didn't want to. Enjoy the face of the franchise!

I'm not even that appalled by it. It's not a big secret LJ doesn't like KC all that much. I'm actually most surprised he said those things about Carl.

Maybe some evidence will come out saying otherwise, but I find it extremely, extremely hard to buy some of these excuses. I can't believe people are buying it too. I think they made several different takes of the same song, and switched them out. I find it really hard to believe they pieced together all these words from various sources to form a rap. These guys can't even get their story straight.

The dumbest thing about all this is how goofy everybody looks trying to cover it up. The story has changed multiple times from different sources. Would've been 10 times easier just to say "I did it, I'm sorry, please forgive me" and be done with it.
