Like many of you on this board I believe in the power of prayer. I am asking you if you would pray for a member of my family.
My nieces husband was in an accident yesterday afternoon in Dickinson County (Kansas) after he was in a high speed chase in pursuit of a stolen vehicle...the link below is of the story and photo. I am asking each of you to pray for Bob, Lisa and Spencer. Bob had surgery last night and will have surgery again on Tuesday or Wednesday. He has broke both his tibula and fibula; the orthopedic surgeon informed our family last night that it is the worst he has ever seen. The most critical time is within the next 24-72 hours where post-op infection risk is the highest. If infection occurs and it can not be treated he would lose part of his leg.
Bob has been a sheriff or a sheriff's deputy for 31 years and this is going to be a trying time for him as well as for the family. Thank you for any thoughts and prayers you can send his way....and God Bless.
