I'm curious to know some opinions on trying to sign Moss in the off-season. From what I understand, he's on a one-year deal with NE.

Would you want him to pair with Bowe?

I think it's a pipe dream. New England will almost certainly re-sign him.

He will resign

I'm never sure what NE is going to do.

They probably will.

But after re-inventing his career, he will be in huge demand and get paid a lot of coin.

Well, let's think about it for a second. Moss is only happy (and only gives effort) when he's getting the ball regularly and deep. Who's going to do that here in KC?

How did he play in Oakland with young, mistake-prone QBs?

Yeah. Let's not do this.

Moss would be an idiot to sign anywhere else.

Is Moss really that good in the flat?

I wouldn't be surprised to see him re-up during the season.

It's only been 2 games, but this team could win another 2-3 Lombardi Trophies if they stay together and healthy.

I enjoy how just like that everyone went from not wanting Moss and saying he's done to back to thinking he's the greatest.

Gross over generalization.

Gross over generalization.

Exactly.

Apparently "everyone" now means less than half of the board.....

why would you want him unless you already have a good team? he only plays hard if he's winning, that is clearly demonstrated in his history...

he'd quit on the Chiefs just like he quit on Oakland...but he's a perfect fit for New England...

I love these mecca moments where you think you're actually intelligent.

I don't think it's a good idea at all unless we show a lot of improvement on offense before the end of the season. I think he's a great player, but he's the type of guy you add when you're ready to take the final step... otherwise he'd be out there quitting on plays. It'd be no different than Oakland.

I didn't want TO and I don't want Moss. I want our own young WRs that we develop with Croyle to build us a championship team.

We don't need to continue to get hyped up Free Agents that are only going to be here a year or two.

The vets we got are good and the young players are getting better. Next years draft is going to be huge.

Why would he sign here? He can just stay in Foxboro and watch the rings roll in.

No offense but other than Bowe, our young WR's are complete shit.

I await to see if Tom Jackson still says Moss sucks like he did last week.

he only plays well on a winning team because of his attitude. We probably will not be good for a couple of years at least.

Screw Moss... The last thing this offense needs is a cancer to screw everything up. I'de rather see high picks on the offensive side of the ball in next years draft.

Screw up what, exactly...? All the fail?

He'll retire. He has some plans to write and be in the booth.

If you think the offense sucks now, add Moss to the mix. The first time a team struggles, his ass disappears on the field. I'de like to see the youth movement continue and build the team through the draft.

I'm looking forward to hearing, by the bye week, about the new, 5 year, $45M contract he signs with the Pats.
