What are the Chiefs thinking? I thought this dude was supposed to be pretty good.

I think the Chiefs saw enough in him in two years.

Kershaw was all over the field this pre-season.
I would've liked to see him stay. He provides great depth at the Middle Linebacker spot.

We're deep there though and with Harris, still fairly young, he wouldn't have gotten much of an opportunity outside of an injury.

Bell and Grigsby should have gone before him.

Isn't N. Harris pretty good also? I think I remember hearing a Herm comment talking about how fast he is.

How about Baldwin or Nate Harris?

What about those CB Barksdale and LB Baldwin guys we signed after the cuts? Have they even dressed?

I have a suspicion that Barksdale figures into our long-term plans at Corner.

We'll need an answer there as early as next season.
We're set in the middle for a while (barring injury).

We havent seen what Barksdale and Baldwin will do since we signed them after the cuts. Kershaw they have had two years to see what he is.

Uh, why? He's just another random dude they picked up.

I would have thought we could cut one of the 27 DBs on our roster

We only have 9 which is the normal number.

Boomer should have been on the street.

Boomer is our banger. besides with wilson catching those floaters in the flat for -2 yards, we are going to need a fullback sooner rather than later. Huard will get him killed.

Our banger who was so useful he hasn't dressed yet.

Just put 15 more pounds on Kolby Smith, cut Boomer's worthless ass, and bring in another back who would actually be serviceable in a rotation should LJ go down...like D. Ross.

They obviously saw something in the kid.
I'll defer to Herm on Defensivebacks.

I don't think there's any reason to think he's anything special.
