View Full Version : All of a sudden, Dwayne Bowe is a ROY candidate

Sure, the frontrunner right now is obviously Adrian Peterson, but after the second half of today's game it's apparent that Dwayne Bowe has the athleticism and playmaking abilities to be a real star, and in the not-too-distant future, too.

Two spectacular touchdown catches (and some other great catches along the way) have made him, in my mind, a go-to receiver already.

D. Bowe and the Defense are what make this team watchable.

we need to feed him the ball, he should get 8-10 balls a game without question...

If only there were a young QB with an arm on our roster who could be learning with him...

I'm taking back what I have said about him prior to the season, he is going to be a good one.

Calvin Johnson and Marshawn Lynch are getting a lot of pub, too.

Bowe is going to have to become the second coming this year for the media to vote a KC offensive player rookie of the year.

So to say he is a candidate is just semantics in that he is a rookie and he has statisitics.

What happens when Kennison is healthy

Herm probably benches Bowe.

Shit.

It will be slightly annoying to see E. Kennison and S. Parker as our starting wide outs when Eddie is 100%.

I'm not even sure that Carl (oops I mean Herm) is that stupid.

Really dunno if that will happen. Bowe has made his mark on the team.

BUT.... it is Herm we are talking about.

It is going to be Kennison and Bowe once Kennison gets healthy.

Bowe is the only Chief to score a TD. No way can Herm bench him.

It's really hard to believe we have a reciever of this quality.

The guy looks like a stud.

with Kennison and Bowe we should be able to work the deep middle of the field which should open things up for Gonzo and LJ....theoretically

Yes since he is a rookie so he is a candidate.

It gives me a wood, I'm so excited about what could flourish with Bowe. Now I'd mega/utra amped when/if Croyle get's his chance too.

I will go nuts when Croyle's gun gets on the field with him.

He'll make him look better than he did JaMarcus.

Dwaine Bow is the #57 receiver so far this season. Only 56 more receivers to overtake to be considered for ROY! Not too shabby, ChiefsFanz... congrats!

Holy shit, there are 56 rookie receivers? And they're all playing better than Dwayne Bowe?

Damn.

How can we even consider him a ROY candidate when AP just dropped 100+ yards & a TD on us.

Pretty much the truth....

If he drops 1200 and 10 TD's no one else has any chance...

No no, silliy! But considering AP's performance, Bow won't be considered for ROY unless he's the #1 receiver... geesh, I gotta explain everything to youse ChiefsFanz....
