Maybe this isnt the right place to post this, but I really think we should have a special thread devoted to the men and women service members that are currently serving this country overseas.

This thread is probably doomed to end up in DC. I know if I had posted it, it would end up there.

I think we should have a thread dedicated to the men and women who have served their country in the past and we should send them 50% of our disposable income. I'll setup a paypal.

damn right! My best friend is over there, but I'm pretty sure he is not in battle, hopefully. These guys definately deserve our support.

What about those that wanted to serve but couldn't do to deformities or prior commitments?

My wife says I'm deformed and ought to be commited, but I went anyway, twice.

Our military rocks and they will kill you if you mess with the US. I like that.

Thanks for continuing to protect and show people around the world what makes this country great!!

It's sickening the fact that people in the media and across the country continue to show disapproval of our military and the wonderful job that they've done. God bless the guys and gals overseas and God Bless America!!!

Sorry to read that BT.
I’ve had several friends rotate in and out, some of them several times each, but I haven't lost any of them. *knock on wood*

The men and women of the military, both past and present, are the definition of courage and service. In the book of John it says, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." I consider each of you that have served or are on active duty as friends. Thank you.
